My Toddler's Favourite Music

“Lullaby” is everyone’s favorite and much loved songs which we use hear in our childhood from our mother or grandmother. Our mother when she was a child would have experienced the sweetness of the lullaby from her mother and this was continued from generation to generation. Now a day the greatest problem is that most new mother’s does not know to sing lullaby and it becomes a challenge for them to keep their kid to sleep or to feel comfortable whenever necessary. I remember my mother saying that my grandmother used to sing lullaby every night, when I was a child. Listening to her voice and sweet rhythm, I used to sleep peacefully. Luckily are the kids who hear those songs.
Unfortunately, I missed to learn that from my grandmother. Even after searching in YouTube, I was not feeling so content with the results I got. While looking for an alternative, I got one super idea that I would like to share.
Here is the new idea for all the lovely mothers which they use to play the song from the mobile as lullaby. The kid used to listen to the song and will turn to sleep very often and it become habit in almost all the kid’s house.
This is about my experience with my kid and how my son becomes favorite to one particular song. I use to sing with my own tune with my own voice to make my son sleep all the time. One day when he was just 6 months while watching television he started crying for no reason. I made him cool by singing song but suddenly “dandanakka song” from the film Romeo Juliet is played in music channel in television. All of a sudden he stopped crying and began to listen the song. From then on his favorite song is “dandanakka” and whatever mood he is, his much loved song is dandanakka.
One day we went to attend a family function, with new faces and new surroundings due to huge crowd he started crying.  We almost made the entire attempt to make him comfortable but he remains restless. Immediately I took out from the place and I played him the song.  All of a sudden he stopped crying and he enjoyed the song. From then on it become our trick to play the song whenever he is restless.
Though today’s generation miss those lullaby, to some extend it can be replaced with the music or songs that a movie has. Sometimes, my toddler who is just one year old, who speaks with lubbaly voice, request us with sound to play the song in the mobile.
But sometimes, it reflects in other way too. Last week, we all were tired and punched the bed around 10 PM in night. My toddler was energetic and was not ready to sleep. We thought of attempting our usual trick to make him sleep by playing the song. But on the reverse side effect, instead of sleeping, he started dancing.

Beep Song

Beep Song

Recently one song that put entire Tamilnadu into two different controversies and sensation is so-called Beep Song. This song is lyrics was written by Simbu and composed by Anirudh. These songs contain words that need to be censored and this also degrades women in the society. Initially this song was uploaded in YouTube and slowly started receiving negative comments. It started spreading like a virus among the people and everybody started opposing by criticizing Simbu for this song. When the media people approached Simbu and asked for his comments on this song, he said that the song was stolen from his mobile and unofficially uploaded in YouTube by some other people without his knowledge. But people were not ready to believe his statements and day by day the aggressiveness towards him started increasing. Some people even filled a case against him in the court. Knowing this he began to avoid media. But again rumors started spreading saying that he absconded to some foreign country. Immediately, his mother and father approached media and gave an explanation stating that Simbu did not abscond anywhere and he is in Tamil Nadu only.
Her mother went a step further and stated the media that this incident has put them under lot of pressure. They were restless from the day of this incident. She in fact pleaded sorry.
Coming back to the issue, there were few people who supported him and there were few set of people who aggressively condemned Simbhu. His haters said this is a general practice that Simbhu is doing every now and then and he is a kind of Psycho. They also added that, he does this to get fame and publicity. Few said, he has to be hanged to death. On listening to all these statements, his mother was freaked out and cried out to media. She questioned media, “What wrong did my son do to hang and kill him? This song was not published by my son. He was playful and was enjoying with his friends. If the song has hurt any woman, I am sorry for that. Please leave us alone”
But even after her sincere apology, his haters were passing heavy and bad remarks on him and his family.
Whereas his supporters said, this song was not used in any movie or album. This song was stolen from his mobile and he cannot be completely blamed for his act. When compared to few movies and few people who project women in a wrong way, this song or incident is nothing.
Even high profiled stars use the words in the movie and this would be replaced by beep music. Recently, there were another movie, which completely criticized women and no one has opposed that movie. It was running successfully in Theaters. But just for one word, why people are wasting the time and filling the case? Is this important to the society. For a day, the beep song was a trending hash tag in Face book? Does this song really need this big attention? People should think about it!!!

Colgate 360 gold toothbrush

How to turn good mornings in to gold mornings

I am working as an assistant professor in private institutions and my passion is teaching. The moment I enter into the institution the students used to greet me by saying” Good Morning  Mam” every day in the morning. I just nod my head and will continue my work. This behavior created a different opinion about me among the students. The students used to think that I am a not a jovial person since I will not smile at anybody.  But the reason behind this is that I always have the feeling that I don’t follow the correct way of brushing the teeth which result is the tooth decay, gum formation and so on.
Recently I heard from my friend about the #Colgate360GoldMornings and suggested me to use Colgate 360 gold toothbrush. Since I am not much aware of the toothbrush I asked her for the more detail. She said it comes with gold color with ultra slim tip bristles. This latest Colgate 360 gold toothbrush will help the clean in between the teeth than the normal bristles. Moreover it not only protects the teeth but also the mouth from the germs, bacteria and gum formation.

With all this in mind I plan to use the latest arrival of Colgate 360 Charcoal Gold toothbrush and I asked my husband the buy it for me. To my surprise the tooth brush has not only bristles but also tongue cleaner with it. Also this can be used up and down, front and back, side to side in between the teeth.

Now every day I used to brush with the innovative Colgate 360 gold tooth brush, and the instant I started using the toothbrush I could feel the difference with me. It created confidence within me. Now I used to smile at everybody around me with enthusiasm and  whenever student greet me in the morning I rely them with “Good Morning” with a smile in my face. Now to all my students I am also the most cheerful and jovial person in the college. Believe it or not, this latest arrival of Colgate 360 gold tooth brush completely changed the opinion about me among the students. I can now say everyday and every morning is a gold day and gold morning for me.
