Kapil dev is considered as one of the India’s best cricketing all-rounder of all time. He is the former and best captain of Indian Team who led India to won the ODI world cup in 1983. From then on cricket becomes craze game in India which made every male Indian starting from age 7 to play cricket as passion, profession and a loving game. He is the inspiration for today’s young cricket players and tomorrow’s new budding cricket players. He established himself as India’s fast bowler and proved his ability both in ball as well as bat. He overcame many chances to become India’s leading fast bowler because at that time India did not produce fast bowlers. He retired in 1994 as the highest wicket taker for that time and became the coach for the Indian team in 1999.He received India highest awards such as Padma Shri, Padma Bhusan, Arjuna awards and finally ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2010. It becomes dream of every Indian to won back the world cup title, but it took 28 years to won the world cup.
