Crash the Pepsi IPL 2015 Videos

Advertisement plays a vital role for the success of the product and if properly and rightly communicated, it can reach larger audience. There are high chances of blasting back when not communicated properly. It may screw up the complete brand name.

Advertisement is like oxygen to any business. Also, targeting right audience is very important. One can’t promote pampers dry diapers ad with a senior citizen.  There is lot of challenges involved while making an ad.

The time is limited, indeed less than a minute and hence the brands have to convey their message with that limited time. Moreover, the advertisement is something which is going to repeat every day and the brands should also take into consideration that it should not be boring when a person watches it second time or thousand times.

I was very much impressed with the entries that were submitted for “Crash the Pepsi IPL 2015”. These videos are the proof that many talented and creative people exist in our country.

A Successful ad has to stand out of the crowd. The concept should make us to think, make us to talk about it and tempt us to buy the product. It should stick to our memory for a long time, and our heart should long to see that ad again.
Out of numerous entries submitted for the “Crash the Pepsi IPL 2015”, below are the few ads, that impressed me and I feel it stands out of the crowd.
  • Crash the Pepsi IPL - Pepsi Hijack:
A best ad is one which is visually pleasing with background music seems soothing. Though the cast performance was not up to the mark, the teddy bear steals the show. I love the title "Hijack" :)
  • "Buddies" by Muni Agarwal

Hats off to the person, who shot this ad with a very simple concept. 3 friends were planning to play hide and seek and they blind folded a girl and start the game. As soon as the game starts, the rest 2 goes invisible, so that they can drink Pepsi all alone without her. I believe, the cinematography adds value to this ad. Top angle shot, slow motion shots, throwing blue color bag and cap, each frame is very poetic. (bare with my critics) Must say, The actress is gorgeous and very attractive.  Her costumes adds value.

  • IPL Third Empire by Rameshwar

I really don’t understand what they are trying to show in this above ad. “Decision pending” to reveal the cool drinks is a Pepsi or some other brand? Please someone educate me!!

  • The Challenge by Mohith Jain

This ad is really amateurish. A guy throws Pepsi bottle in the air and jumps to catch the cool drink. In their own words, taking risk to grab the Pepsi. The back ground properties were not at all cleared and it’s really awkward to watch this ad. But the important thing is to participate. So, I congratulate them for participating in this competition and wish them to improve and take care of minute things the next time.
